Privacy Statement
Privacy of individual visitor data is of great importance to us. We work diligently to protect your personal data, employ technical safeguards and strict security policies, and enforce privacy controls in any services provided.

We have created this privacy statement to express our firm commitment to privacy and confidentiality. The policies described in this section apply to www.comtechsolutions.com and all other sites published by Comtech Solutions and its subsidiaries. They are published here to make you aware of how we collect and use identifying information of visitors to our Web sites.

From time to time, we may have to alter our privacy statement because of changes in our business, or in order to serve your needs better. We'll use reasonable efforts to publish any changes to our privacy statement. This site may contain links to other sites, which are governed by their own proprietary Privacy Policy and are not governed by any of the policies stated here.

Identifying Information
"Identifying information" is exactly what it sounds like - it is information used to identify you as an individual visitor.

In most cases it is simply information such as your IP address or your browser type. This type of information doesn't require you to fill out any forms and allows us to do things such as identify and track traffic on our server to find out how many people use one type of browser over another. In cases where you have provided us information by becoming a member of our site, filling out a form, signing up for our newsletters, or participating in a survey, the information may consist of items such as your name, e-mail address, company, etc. (whatever you've provided us). We use this type of information to help us personalize all of our communications with you. You always have the choice of opting-out of receiving communications from us. See the section Choice/Opt-Out for your options.

We do not make any of your identifying information available to third parties for any marketing purposes whatsoever. We may occasionally send you information about third-party products and services that we feel may be of interest, but your information is not shared with any third parties. Should you choose to contact these third parties regarding their products or services, any information that you share with them is subject to their Privacy Policy. If you no longer wish to receive this type of communication from us, please see the Choice/Opt-Out section.

We'll use reasonable efforts to honor your requests. Please be aware that we have no control over removing your personal information from the lists of third parties so please notify the particular third parties regarding deactivation of your personal information.

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and e-mail address. We will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site. We store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail. The friend may contact us to request the removal of this information from our database.

Periodically our sites request information from you via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and therefore you have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. We may ask for contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the services that we provide to you and to the public.

Data Security
We recognize your concern for security, and will continue to use any reasonable efforts to establish secure connections with you and to limit access to databases containing personal information to authorized personnel only.

If you believe that we may not have your correct and current personal information, you may update your information any time by using the contact information below to inform us of changes in your personal information.

We'll use reasonable efforts to honor your requests, but we appreciate your patience in allowing us a reasonable amount of time for processing. Please either:

Use of Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that Web sites can write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file we set contains non-personal identifying information, such as a user ID, to track the pages you've visited or things you've seen and to pre-populate information on forms in and around our Web sites. In addition, we store your first name and Support ID in order to personalize your experience on that site.

We use cookies to track your username when logging into our secured partners' and tech support sites to look up your personalization information (you've previously provided us) to pre-populate forms.

A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or cookie files created by other sites, and it will not harm any of the data on your hard drive.

We use cookies in some parts of our Web site to track your traffic patterns. We do this to determine how effective our navigational structure is, how people use our site, and which content is of the highest interest to visitors. We also use cookies to track URLs you may have clicked on to reach our site (through e-mail campaigns) and to recognize you upon your return in order to pre-populate information on our forms.

If you prefer not to receive cookies from our Web site, you can set your browser to alert you about the presence of cookies and refuse them. You can also refuse all cookies from all Web sites by selecting the disable cookies option in your browser. NOTE: This may prevent you from accessing some secure areas of our Web sites.
