There are two ways to preview previous reconciliations. One is on Bank Reconciliation form itself and the other one is through Bank Reconciliation reports. Each will be discussed below.
If you would like to review previous reconciliations made through the Bank Reconciliation form, follow these steps.
1.Open Bank Reconciliation form.
2.Select the Account you want to see the previous reconciliations made in the Account To Reconcile field.
3.In this way, you will need to know specific dates of previous reconciliations. If you have it, enter that date/s in the Date field.
In our example, we have the following dates:
8/31/2011
9/30/2011
10/31/2011
For 8/31/2011 reconciliation:
For 9/30/2011 reconciliation:
For 10/31/2011 reconciliation:
If you would like to review previous reconciliations made through the Bank Reconciliation report, follow these steps.
1.Open Bank Reconciliation form.
2.Select the Account you want to see the previous reconciliations made in the Account To Reconcile field.
3.Click Print button.
4.In the Print Bank Reconciliation form, uncheck the Display the current reconciliation checkbox, highlight Bank Reconciliation and click Print button.
5.The Report Criteria – Bank Reconciliation form will be opened. Click Print button.
6.Bank Reconciliation report will be shown. It will show also 3 reconciliations all in all, which means there were 3 reconciliations made in the past.
Note that this may not always be the case, in any event where you saved the Bank Reconciliation form; such will increase the number of saved records/reconciliations. In this example, these 3 records were purely from previous reconciliations, none from saved record.
